Jim Stewart, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®),
brings a wide and diverse skill set to JP Stewart Associates.
After a long career in high
tech engineering and management, Jim jumped into managing projects in
Internet fueled organizations.
Early in his career, Jim co-founded a WAN (wide area network) provider where he
managed and oversaw network implementations as well as created and taught courses
to promote adoption of WAN technology by telecommunications companies. He went
on to work for Lotus Development and Genuity where he continued to focus on project
management and organizational training. Jim’s psychology background enabled
him to identify and communicate gaps in understanding between technical people
and higher management. His track record of bringing projects in on time and under
budget coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit prompted Jim to found JP Stewart
Associates in early 2003. Jim teaches part time at Northeastern and Brandeis Universities and
is Executive in Residence at Babson College. He recently served on the
Project Management Institute Mass Bay Chapter's Board of Directors as the
Director of Programs Sponsorship.
